Benefits of Fishbowl's Integration with Intuit QuickBooks Online
Purchase Orders, Sales Orders & Accepting Payments
New Contacts, Inventory & Manufacturing Adjustments
Fishbowl’s QuickBooks integration enables you to match up your inventory management and accounting records.
The specific QuickBooks Online versions that Fishbowl integrates with are QuickBooks Online Plus and Advanced. Those are the only two versions of QuickBooks Online that have the necessary features to enable the recording of purchase orders and other transactions in inventory journal entries. In addition, Fishbowl supports international versions of QuickBooks Online.
Since QuickBooks Online does not need to be downloaded onto a computer like QuickBooks Desktop, it can be accessed on any operating system, including Windows, Mac, and Linux. No matter which operating system you have downloaded the Fishbowl Server and Client onto, you will be able to integrate with QuickBooks Online.
To integrate with QuickBooks Online Plus or Advanced, follow these steps:
- Enter the Accounting Integration module in Fishbowl Advanced, click the Configure tab, and click “Connect to QuickBooks Online.”
- Click “Connect to QuickBooks” to open a browser window.
- Enter your QuickBooks Online login credentials and click the Connect button.
- Map your Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Part Type Accounts between Fishbowl and QuickBooks Online.
- Click the Finish button.
The QuickBooks Online integration will be in place at this point. However, you will be asked to repeat these steps every 90 days because of Intuit’s security measures.
