Fishbowl Drive makes Fishbowl’s advanced inventory management features available in the cloud.
OREM, Utah, Jan. 27, 2022 – Less than four months after launching its cloud-based solution, Fishbowl Drive, Fishbowl managed to get it listed on the QuickBooks Apps store. Fishbowl is the No. 1-requested inventory management software for QuickBooks users.
Fishbowl Drive is unique from Fishbowl’s previous forays into SaaS solutions because it is designed to do everything the desktop version is capable of. Plus, it integrates with the Fishbowl Drive Mobile App to add even more accessibility to the software.
QuickBooks Apps represents a marketplace of hundreds of apps that help small and medium-size businesses (SMBs) with a variety of everyday functions. These apps help in every category of running a business, such as inventory, payments, human resources, taxes, time tracking, and expense tracking.
“While there are many inventory apps on QuickBooks Apps, there’s really nothing like Fishbowl out there,” said Nathan Bleak, Fishbowl’s Chief Revenue Officer. “Most offer just basic inventory tools. It might seem like a fast turnaround time for Fishbowl to get its new SaaS solution listed on QuickBooks Apps. But Fishbowl’s team has been working with Intuit for months to bring it about.
The process was rigorous: a full review of Fishbowl Drive’s marketing, security, and development, among other things. It was a team effort involving Fishbowl’s:
- Website developers
- Development team that created Fishbowl Drive
- Graphic designers
- IT team
- QuickBooks team
Everyone in these groups helped push this project along in their own way.
This is yet another milestone in Fishbowl’s long-running relationship with Intuit as a strategic partner. Fishbowl became one of the first Gold Developers with Intuit back in 2004. That gave it exclusive access to the accounting software code at a crucial time in the company’s history. Fishbowl was just getting started back then. And that provided it with the opportunity it needed to become the No. 1 inventory management solution for QuickBooks. A title it still holds to this day.
Now, in addition to being the top-selling desktop software among QuickBooks users, Fishbowl is looking to become the No. 1 app and SaaS solution. Everything is pointed in that direction.
