You can both import and export data between Square and Fishbowl. If you have certain product offerings in your POS store that you don’t already have in Fishbowl, you can import them into Fishbowl from Square. This makes it easier to add those products to purchase orders and sales orders. And you can also export products from Fishbowl to Square that aren’t already in your POS store.

Fishbowl’s Square module also lets you schedule POS imports between Fishbowl and Square. And you can create default settings for how sales orders, locations, customers, carriers, payments, and taxes are brought into Fishbowl’s inventory management system from Square.

To integrate with Square, go to the Plugin module in Fishbowl Advanced, scroll down, and click the Install button at the top of the Square option. Close all Fishbowl Clients connected to the Fishbowl Server, and then restart the server. When you reopen the Fishbowl Client, you will be able to see Square in the Integrations module group, and you will also be able to allow other users to see and access it via a new Square access right section in the User Group module.

This adds the Square module to Fishbowl Advanced, and you can now configure the integration to connect to your Square account and Square POS system. To do this, you will need the Authorization Code from Square. In the module toolbar of the Square module, click the Settings button. In the window that pops up, click the Connect button. This will open a Web page where you can either log into your existing Square account or sign up for a new Square account and obtain the Auth Code. Once you have copied it, return to the Fishbowl Client and paste it in the appropriate field. Click the Submit and Save buttons, and the integration should be ready to go.
