Understanding the Custom Field Module

Many modules across Fishbowl have a Custom tab with a number of custom fields. The Custom Field module is where you go to determine what the custom fields will be. You can literally use them for anything. You can add any name or description and then choose from a number of types:

• Text
• Date
• Money
• Quantity
• Count
• Checkbox
• List
• Radio Button Group
• Long Text

You can also create custom lists by clicking on the Custom Lists tab. Click the plus sign on the right of the module and then use this to create a list and give yourself options to choose from. Next week we’ll take a look at the Location module.
