June 15, 2015
We’ve talked about how to get Fishbowl up and running as well as how to get answers to your questions when working with Fishbowl. Now we’re going to talk about something new and exciting: How to troubleshoot commonly reported issues when using the software. This is a nice brief video, clocking in at less than three minutes.

A Simple Fix

Sometimes an export of data from Fishbowl to QuickBooks can freeze up. When this happens, all you need to do is go onto the Fishbowl Server computer and follow the instructions in this video. First, open the Windows Task Manager and then end several processes, including the Fishbowl Client, Server and Nexus, plus the QuickBooks company file. That way, you’ll be able to start fresh. Pretty simple.
